He wants to stay he knows he does, he will be reaching his prime at 35. I think he will be productive for a long time, he is slender, he will age well. |

Miller was already quoted that the management team continues to talk to him about "their plan" and what the "outlook and timeline" is for the team...
If they trade him it won't be until he is the last domino... they will make moves to try tos how him that he should stay and if he still says "no I won't to move on" then they will trade him at the end. |

I really think he does want to stay. If he didn't he would have said he is ready to move on. He is fighting himself about what he wants more. I really think he will be the last player dealt. The Sabres will make moves to convince him to stay based on the moves they have made already. If he wont resign then he would be dealt at the deadline |

Maybe I mis-read the article in the Buffalo News last night, but they made it sound as though he hasnt had talks with the new GM, and it seemed like he felt he has been left swinging in the breeze a bit as to what was going on. Could be he is holding his cards close to the vest, which he is good at, but that is not what I got from the quotes in the paper.
Regardless, if they can keep him, great. If they can get good return trading him, great. If they want to over pay him to re-sign him after the season as a FA, assuming he even wants to be here, then great. I am just interested in seeing how it pans out.
If he kicks ass at the Olympics, assuming he is still a Sabre at that point, then we should see the Blues or Capitals get the deal done quickly once he returns... |

Miller is not in the front office. He's a hockey player. Why do so many people feel like Miller has a say in all this? |

Murray "I like to give players like Miller some say. He has been in this league a long time now, he has earned that right" See Mike Fisher trade to NSH. |

Um because he does. Obviously. As a pending UFA to be he doesn't have to sign here. He has plenty of a say in this. If they didn't want to resign him he would be dealt already but they want him here. They have to convince him. Aka he has a huge say in this |

Like Fisher had a say in that. When Carrie Underwood says you move to Nashville or say goodbye to hitting that. You move to Nashville. |

That country should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.
What a joke. - Powerslave
it is awful.... The athletes who are there doing test runs are already demanding changes to the courses and saying that htey are too dangerous to be used. They are refusing to do certain events already. It sounds like all of the mountain sports have been said to be too dangerous... I was also told that there is a MAIN road for athletes and reporters to get up the mountains there that is not completed yet and is a danger for a rock slide with heavy traffic. |

The way I look at it...
WITH Miller... we can rebuild into contenders in 2-3 years.
WITHOUT Miller.. we are rebuilding for 4-5 years before we are contenders. |

Murray flat out said we traded him to Nashville because of his personal life.
He was on with Schoop and the Bulldog. |
